Prada AW12 Backstage & show

 

   Prada AW 12: Futuristic mixed with geek princess (flasback to the 1990's Prada ) in colorful Sci-fi inspired eye make-up/art. Long layers, jackets,and  skirts were the theme for her AW12 collection. I will not dispair, the cropped jackets, heels and bags are still wearable for the under 5'9''.  I'm a personal fan of Prada and I was inspired by the bold patterns and the 3D embellishment. The cropped jackets are the most covetable looks, along with the menswear inspired bold print 3/4 jackets and matching cropped trouser. The asian buyers will need to negotiate new proportions for their Prada junkie clientele.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pat McGrath's genius make up design for this show is one of the most directional so far!! Love the orange painted eyebrows and the under eye purple liner.
