Fun show to rush to after a shoot considering it was next to the Prince Albert memorial in Hyde park in a large pop up marquee. The show was packed and the finale gave us all a coat of fake snow while we watched the models do their last steps in clear caplets to protect them from the snow.
My favorite silhouettes at the Burberry Prorsum show were reminiscent of Balenciaga in the late 1950's and early 1960's. I loved the aline coats and the fitted sexy flare trousers paired with the must own uber high wedge lace ups. It was a please to see less leather and more wool mixed with fur and tweed knit tops and suits. Overall strong suit and coat looks are a departure from old silhouettes and offering a breath of fresh air to coat options as they are know for their classic outer wear trench variations.
