Nicola Forminchetti as Creative director of Thierry Mugler is keeping the brand's signature 1980's vamp intact. The wide shoulders modernized for the woman who is either on stage with a microphone ( Go!! Beyonce and Lada Gaga) or for a confident woman that looking to be photographed. From a stylist's point of view I love what Nicola is doing with the brand , it's ideal for editorial/ fantasy shoots, recording artists , experimental actresses. However the commercial version/line they produce is a bit more realistic for the closet 1980's TV series "Dallas" or Lady Gaga wannabe? :).
And the heels? where can we buy those? Over all the craftmanship in which the designer and creative director produced is of a quality that I dont think many can touch or re produce apart from the Alexander McQueen RTW design team or Balenciaga ?
