NYFW F/W14 Editor's Diary : Alexandre Herchovitch

Victorian petticoats, mouton sleeved overcoats, and leather corsets. Alexandre a Brazilian designer that I have followed for many seasons is one of the few that steps away from cliche trends, disgards wearability and creates for those who will wear an idea rather than follow seasonal trends.

as of late he has kept a feminine theme in his collections in which can be explored by all ages. The lace dresses in the Fall 2014 collection are standout silhouettes as are the eyewear. Back stage, pre show was like standing in a past moment of time as the amazing hair and make up design along with the looks I could have been on a fashion editorial shoot in the 1970's. Overal an excellent collection.
