Vivien Chong is a London-based fashion designer and a graduate from the prestigious unversity Central Saint Martins. "Pleating Architecture" is her hand-pleated 2013 graduate collection inspired by the architecture of Steven Holl, contemporary architecture, and modern art, in which Chong delivered a rainbow of stunning fashion constructs. The design and makeup of her collection brings people to the world of future, where art and architecture interweave with physics and technology. The garments are crafted with a scientific method used in architecture to create reflections and refractions of lights and colors on the glass of a building, borrowing from Steven Holl's designs where light and shadow seem to dance through the buildings.
