MFW SS16 NY: Day 1

 The RTW Menswear calendar has officially shifted to include NYC, an exciting break through for the menswear designers who have previously had to either show at NYFW during the womenswear shows or invested in showing in Milan or Paris menswear week. I do predict the US based buyers and press will appreciate this moment to focus on local talent without distraction.

Notable menswear trend thus far for SS16: shorts,sportswear inspired layers,double breasted suits and brighter palettes with a nostalgic reference.
